Ingredients required
• Pineapple - 1 full fruit (chopped)
• Sugar - 2 cups
• Colouring agent - 1/4th teaspoon
• Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
How to prepare pineapple jam
Add chopped pineapples with half a cup of water in a mixing jar and grind them to make a smooth paste. Place a pan on the stove and put your pineapple puree in the pan. Stir it for ten minutes. Next, add sugar and continue stirring it for about 20 to 30 minutes. Once this is done, add the coloring agent (preferably yellow) and 1 teaspoon of lemon to the puree. Continue to stir. Once the mixture becomes thick and sticky, transfer it to a serving bowl.
